A Comprehensive Theological Education and Practical Training for Ministry

The Bachelor of Arts in Ministry combines theological studies with practical training in spiritual leadership. The program lasts four years and can be pursued full-time or part-time. The academic content is identical to that of the Bachelor of Theology with a Pentecostal Profile program.

Solid Theological Foundation

The theological studies lay the foundation with substantial blocks of knowledge in the Bible, Christian faith and ethics, church history, and Pentecostal charismatic theology.

In the advanced part of the program, New Testament Greek and linguistic courses are included, as well as a specialization in Pentecostal theology. Instruction in the practical part takes place online and through in-person meetings three times per semester.

Spiritual Leadership

The practical part of the education is conducted in collaboration with spiritual leaders within the Scandinavian Pentecostal-charismatic movement. Instruction runs parallel to academic studies throughout the entire study period.

Three MiniCampuses are held on-site each semester in Uppsala, where experienced ministry workers share their experiences and prepare you for service. You also have a mentor who coaches and follows your development during your studies. Additionally, a summer course with the Koinonia community and retreat is included in the program.

Admission

To participate in the practical training, you must be enrolled in the Bachelor’s program, which can be taken full-time or part-time.
