Theology And Practical Training For Ministry In One Program
The Diploma in Practical Theology includes theological courses and practical ministry training. The program, which equals 30 cr, corresponds to one year of full-time studies, but you can study the theology courses at your own pace.
Practical Ministry Training
In addition to theological courses, the program includes twelve mandatory two-day MiniCampuses, typically held in Uppsala, spread over two years, and two summer campuses. During these sessions, you will be trained in charismatic ministry by experienced preachers and ministry workers of various kinds.
Theological Training
The program’s theological part consists of courses you study online at a distance. The theology courses included in the program are:
- Introduction to the Old and New Testament
- Church History
- A profile course focused on Pentecostal-Charismatic Church History
- Systematic Theology and Ethics
The program also includes a theological course with an optional topic, where you will learn to write in a way that prepares you to participate in dialogues and arguments within Christianity and society.
The Diploma in Practical Theology is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to pursue a short education geared explicitly toward service in God’s Kingdom.
