A Christian Theological University College

Our Mission Is To Equip A New Generation Of Leaders

A Christian Theological College

The Scandinavian School of Theology (SST) is an independent Christian theological institution not bound to any specific church or denomination but dedicated to serving all congregations and movements. Its mission is to equip a new generation of leaders to serve in the local and global church as pastors, missionaries, and leaders, and to be a clear Christian voice in society.

From Scandinavia to the Ends of the Earth

The university college is based in Uppsala, but its mission field is global. Teaching primarily takes place online, and the languages of instruction are Swedish and English.

Theological Profile

SST is an Evangelical-Pentecostal theological university college with a heart for revival and openness to the entire body of Christ. The institution’s teaching is rooted in biblical faith and classical Christian confession, charismatic living, and revival Christianity, with deep roots in Israel and the Jewish people.

Location

Scandinavian School of Theology is located in Uppsala, an academic city that offers unique access to libraries and an academic environment. SST also provides opportunities for flexible distance learning.

Excellent Internship Opportunities

Students can access excellent internship opportunities through partnerships with churches across Sweden. This usually happens in collaboration with the student’s local church, but SST can also facilitate internships through connections with churches, mission organizations, and preachers.

Theological Degree

In collaboration with Southeastern University, Lakeland, Florida, USA, students can earn an accredited Bachelor of Arts in Ministry, equivalent to a Swedish Bachelor’s degree in theology. Our program provides a degree and includes training in biblical leadership and practical ministry.

Background

With twenty years of experience as Livets Ord University and Livets Ord Theological Seminary, we have served the body of Christ and trained nearly two thousand pastors and leaders worldwide for ministry.
