The program includes an overview of the history of ideas, intending to provide an analysis of different ideologies and the place of the Christian tradition among them. It also presents the ethics rooted in and maintained within the Jewish-Christian tradition and Western humanism.

Current issues relevant to the school and students are addressed and discussed. Great emphasis is placed on the teacher’s reflection and the ability to formulate a personal stance on core values issues.
