How It Works

The SST Core Values Certification has a qualified certification group and a process leader who assists the school in the certification process. Through this process:

  • The school is certified, meets specific requirements, and has developed a core values policy. The school conducts a self-assessment and is certified by SST.
  • The school staff is certified through the course’s teaching, literature, tests, and personal reflection papers.

Qualifications:

  • Participate in two full days of recorded lectures and group discussions based on discussion questions, with webinars available.
  • Individually engage with two blocks of 8 hours of web-based instruction.
  • Take a final exam and write a reflection paper.
  • After completing the certification, a diploma will be issued.

Resources:

  • Web portal with course materials.
  • Large-scale webinars.
  • Lectures via the internet.
  • Local group work within the staff group based on provided working materials.

Examination:

  • Written exam/quiz.
  • Personal reflection paper, including reflections, strategy, and goals for the values foundation work.
  • Participation in the local staff group’s values foundation work.

Significant emphasis is placed on the teacher’s own reflection and the ability to formulate a personal stance on values-based issues.
