How It Works
The SST Core Values Certification has a qualified certification group and a process leader who assists the school in the certification process. Through this process:
- The school is certified, meets specific requirements, and has developed a core values policy. The school conducts a self-assessment and is certified by SST.
- The school staff is certified through the course’s teaching, literature, tests, and personal reflection papers.
Qualifications:
- Participate in two full days of recorded lectures and group discussions based on discussion questions, with webinars available.
- Individually engage with two blocks of 8 hours of web-based instruction.
- Take a final exam and write a reflection paper.
- After completing the certification, a diploma will be issued.
Resources:
- Web portal with course materials.
- Large-scale webinars.
- Lectures via the internet.
- Local group work within the staff group based on provided working materials.
Examination:
- Written exam/quiz.
- Personal reflection paper, including reflections, strategy, and goals for the values foundation work.
- Participation in the local staff group’s values foundation work.
Significant emphasis is placed on the teacher’s own reflection and the ability to formulate a personal stance on values-based issues.
