Collaboration With Southeastern University, Florida, USA<\/h3>\n

On January 1, 2019, a unique collaboration began between the Scandinavian School of Theology (SST) and Southeastern University (SEU) in Florida, USA. Southeastern University (SEU) is affiliated with the global Pentecostal denomination Assemblies of God, which has 3.2 million members in the USA and 69 million members worldwide across 370,000 congregations.<\/p>\n

SEU offers a wide range of academic programs, from theology to media and economics. Currently, it has approximately 10,000 students, most of whom are enrolled in distance learning.<\/p>\n

Southeastern University is located in beautiful Lakeland, Florida, known for its stunning natural surroundings and proximity to world attractions such as Disney World and Universal Studios. It also offers everything that American campus life offers: American football, a chapel with a couple of thousand students living on campus, and fresh environments.<\/p>\n

The SST-SEU Partnership<\/h3>\n

The two institutions are partners, and the collaboration allows students to earn a fully internationally recognized bachelor’s degree (equivalent to a Swedish Bachelor\u2019s degree) at SEU by completing the first three years in Sweden and finishing the final year either through distance learning or on campus in Florida. For example, a student can spend a semester in Florida focusing on pastoral ministry, worship, or missions while taking other courses online. After completing the bachelor’s degree, students can pursue both master’s and doctoral levels.<\/p>\n
