Links below.Speakers: Bength Gustafson\, Ola Hössjer\, Pavel Hoffman \nHow do we defend and explain the Christian faith in a time of questioning and relativism? Welcome to a MiniCampus focused on Christian apologetics\, held at Livets Ord in Uppsala and via Zoom. \nThe teaching is led by Bength Gustafson\, Ola Hössjer\, and Pavel Hoffman and addresses central questions concerning the foundations of the Christian faith\, the nature of truth\, creation\, and various apologetic methods. You will gain both theoretical perspectives and personal insights into how apologetics can be applied in the church and in society today. \nBength Gustafson is a pastor\, theologian\, teacher\, and author. Among his books are Why Christianity?\, What Kind of Sweden Do We Want?\, and Time for the Return of Christianity. He is an active public debater and columnist. \nOla Hössjer is Professor of Mathematical Statistics at Stockholm University and a well-regarded author and lecturer in Christian apologetics and creation-related issues. Ola is passionate about communicating the gospel in both speech and writing\, and about affirming that the Bible is God’s infallible Word to humanity. \nPavel Hoffman is Dean of Academic Affairs at SST and holds a PhD in Systematic Theology\, Ethics\, and Apologetics. His doctoral dissertation explores the relationship between Christianity and the surrounding culture. DESCRIPTION:Scandals in the Church: Why Do So Many Leaders Fall and What Can We Do About It?\nIn recent years\, scandals involving evangelical leaders have become increasingly common. Stories of infidelity\, sexual misconduct\, abuse of power\, and misuse of ministry funds appear far too often. Many of these situations are minimized\, ignored\, or quietly covered up. When churches and ministry organizations respond poorly\, the damage only grows — and trust in leadership continues to erode. \nThis Mini-Campus addresses the difficult and painful reality of moral\, financial\, and leadership scandals within the Church. Together\, we will explore why so many leaders fall into sin and what we can learn from these tragic failures. \nBecause none of us are immune\, we will also focus on practical and biblical steps that help prevent collapse before it happens.
