Dr Göran Lennartsson grew up in a small Swedish town two hours’ drive from Stockholm in a family of believers. Nine years old he was baptized in the near Pentecostal Church and quite early on the interest of Bible became an important drive in his life.

After some five years of theological studies at the University in Uppsala including a semester in Jerusalem he finished a bachelor in theology and soon enough begun as an assistant pastor in a Pentecostal Church. Some years later he became responsible for a suburb church in Stockholm, within the umbrella of the Filadelfia Church Stockholm. Since then, from 1984 teaching and writing in different formats has been his main focus. Bible Schools, study tours in Israel, seminars in local churches and 20 years as teacher at different theological seminaries in Sweden. That include a period of ten years evangelistic work in the Arab world and three years based in Jerusalem doing Jewish-Christian relations. He finished his doctoral studies at the University in Lund in 2007 by defending the dissertation Refreshing & Restoration – two eschatological motifs in Acts 3:19-21.

Now, retired and his wife Tatta in full time Christian ministry, Göran himself focus on writing books and articles, week-end preaching tours and lecturing at SSH (Scandinavian School of Theology).
